Paint so closeyou'll forgetwhere it was.
Color is measured, mixed and tested on a spray card against your car before a drop of paint touches the panel. Then we blend, clearcoat and bake it in a downdraft booth.
Your paint code isonly the starting point.
Every car leaves the factory with a paint code, but sun, age and even the plant it was built in shift the real color. Two silver cars with the same code can look noticeably different side by side. So we read the panel next to the repair with a spectrophotometer and adjust the formula to your car, not the catalog.
Before painting, we spray test cards and hold them against the car in daylight. When the card disappears, we paint. Then we blend into the neighboring panel so there's no visible edge, lay down premium clearcoat, and bake it to a hard, factory-like finish.
Paint & color matching
- Scratches, scuffs and key marks

How we do it.
The same four stages on every car, documented with photos you get by text.
Measure
A spectrophotometer reads the color of the panel right next to the repair.
Mix & test
The formula is mixed and sprayed on test cards, then compared against the car in daylight.
Prep & paint
Sanded, primed and sealed, then painted in a downdraft booth and blended into the next panel.
Cure & polish
Baked to cure, finessed and polished, then checked under inspection lights.

Signs it's timeto get it looked at.
Not sure? Stop by. A look and a scan are free, and we'll tell you honestly if it can wait.
- Clearcoat turning cloudy or peeling
- Scratches that catch a fingernail
- An old repair that no longer matches
- Rust bubbling at the edge of a chip
- Bird or sap damage that won't polish out
- Bumper and body look like different colors
Will the new paint match the rest of my car?
That's what the measuring, test cards and blending are for. We match your car's current color, not just the factory code, and blend so the eye has no edge to catch.
When can I wash the car?
The paint is fully cured before delivery. We recommend hand washing for the first 30 days and skipping wax on the new paint until then.
Can you fix just a scratch?
Often. Light scratches can be polished out. Deeper ones need the panel refinished, and we'll tell you which before quoting.
